Meet the Budget Cuts 
is a multimedia documentary project that shows how state budget cuts affect real people. It tells the stories of six staff members at the University of Illinois at Chicago who lost their jobs as a result of the current financial crisis.

When discussing budget shortfalls and rescissions, it's easy to forget that the numbers refer to people. This project documents the human impact of funding cuts to public universities by recording and preserving the stories of those who have been hardest hit by them.
